Caesar - an application for the geocacher on tour.
Who does not know it? You are doing a good multi cache and at the prefinal you need to calculate the final coordinate out of resistor colors - and you have no online connection.
And therefor is this application. You got codings for encrypting and decrypting, alphabets and calculations often used for geocaching. And for everybody who has full hands: this application could be controlled by speech.
Because you sometimes need to calculate the intersection of two lines or do a waypoint projection, or for a multi cache you need to calculate the next coordinate with a formula and some given numbers, some tools are therefor implemented.
You could calculate the coordinates from any formula and also use variables for them. And after that you could navigate with the compass to that point.
At this time the following codings for example are implemented:
- Caesar cipher
- Bacon cipher
- Dvorak cipher
- Gronsfeld cipher
- Vigenère cipher
- vanity code (mobile phone keyboard)
- calculations with letters
- Numbers of Pi and e
- conversion of numbers (binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal, roman)
- resistor colors
- semaphore alphabet
- braille
- signal flags
- ASCII table
- phonetic alphabets
- morse code
- scytale
- rail fence cipher
- letter frequency
- chronogram
- atbash
- pigpen cipher
- chappe code
- dancing men
- keyboard layouts (QWERTZ, QWERTY, AZERTY, Dvorak)
Furthermore you could do
- calculations with formulas (formulas and variables can be saved)
and also
- waypoint projections
- calculate distances between to points
- calculate intersection points of two circles
- calculate intersection points of two lines
- calculate intersection points of a line and circle
- calculate centroid of an area
- convert angles
and save the waypoints
This application is in continuous development and for the future I have planned to implement more codings. You also could contact me for further ideas.
Features:
- Speech input (partly an internet connection is required)
- list of favorites
- all codings and calculations work without an internet connection
- calculations with formulas and variables
- online help (only in German for this time)
- language in English and German (chooseable)
