This app provides a background agent for synchronizing your pictures to a „Cloud“ provider of your choice (i.e. ownCloud), as long as the provider uses the webDAV standard. You can use webDAV servers in your own home network, too (i.e. NAS storages if available).
The timing of the synchronization run is determined by your Phone and depends on conditions defined by Microsoft (i.e. external power source, charged battery, phone not in use, wireless connection to webDAV server). Mostly these conditions are met during sleep hours when phone is charging.
The app only synchronizes pictures (no music or video files, contact/calendar details or messages). It will not be a tool to view or modify files on your webDAV server.
This app is available in a trial version limited in functions. During the first 30 days after installation it will sync the pictures in normal resolutions (like full version), then it will copy preview version only.
