«Sword Labyrinth» counts a scoring for each game and a scoring for the entire session, gathering all the points from all the games in that session. By a session we understand the time period between the starting of the first game and ending of the 10th. You can also register your score at the producer website and enter the competition where you can win prizes.
The game is divided in several levels. The scoring and the number of lives you have are reported to the next level. Time will reset at the beginning of each level. For reaching the next level you need to fully place six fold the sword into the scabbard. If you place twentyfold the sword into the scabbard you will reach the next level instant. In certain sword positions the sword can be placed inside several times. To be counted for following insertions, you need to fully pull out the sword first.
For every time you place the sword into the scabbard you will be rewarded with a number of points and after every third insertion you will receive a new extra life also.
Each time you touch a part of the maze, the ball, the dragon (anywhere except the ears), your score drops and your number of touches increases or lose a life or more.
Each time you touch the dragon ears your score increases and you gain 3 lives.
Every 10 touches you lose a life.
The sword can be shifted either using the screen buttons or keyboard - Forward: ↑, Back: ↓, Right: →, Left: ←, Right spin: X, Left spin: Z and Turbo: Y. You can have continuous movement by keeping any of these keys pressed.
Turbo gives you the possibility of moving forward at a higher speed and cancels for 10 seconds the parts of the maze touched, but it will cost you a life.
The game ends by: a) voluntary stopping, b) if your time is up, c) when you lose all your available lives. For stopping at any time, besides normal commands you can use the ESC key.
For registering for prized competition you need to play version intermediate or advanced and gather at least 25000 points and touch at least one of the dragon's ears for game with 10 lives and once for each group of 10 extra lives. The scores that can be entered in the competition are marked with the letter C.
