SoccerTime 2013/14 is a fully fledged Soccer (Football) arcade/management game.
The game allows you to become the Chairman of Hatfield Town Football Club and take on all the challenges it entails. This includes managing the team, building ground upgrades, keeping your family and a team of volunteers happy, and actually controlling the football team during their matches.
Developer Tom Bailey is the treasurer, programme editor, and turn-style operator for Hatfield Town FC. Therefore, he knows a bit about non-league football and running a football club with the help of volunteers.
This game attempts to recreate the world of running a lower league football club. If you enjoy the game, perhaps you should get involved with your local football club wherever you are in the world. It is a great way to give local children a focus when not at school and can teach them discipline and teamwork.
Be the football manager you've always wanted to be. Choose your formation, examine your players stats, move players into different positions, bench players and give players on the bench a run.
To move a player hold their name down till they are red, then tap the position you want to move them to. (The names next to the numbers) If you enjoy football games, being a football manager and soccer tournaments then this is the game for you.
The tutorial will help you make the most of the game play or you can just dive in.
Hatfield Town FC has several youth teams including a girls team and a disability team. If you are ever in the neighbourhood please drop in and watch a game. If you mention SoccerTime we'll even throw in a cup of tea!
We hope you enjoy the game, and please leave any (constructive) feedback. The game is a hobby that Tom did in his spare time (while raising two young children), so please do not be too brutal with the feedback!
