I personally like to use the HC-05 or HC-06 bluetooth module because it is easy to use, low cost and easy to obtain. The operation is quite simple, the smartphone sends commands via bluetooth and Arduino receives them, and according to the received command it activates or deactivates the relays. Relays can turn house lights or other electronic devices on and off, whatever we want. We also have a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor connected, this sensor monitors temperature and humidity. Within the application we can set a limit, for example, if it exceeds this limit, the temperature activates a fan to lower the temperature, or if the temperature is too low, the heating is activated. The same happens with humidity, we can set a value for humidity and if it exceeds this value, a dehumidifier is activated. These are the basic operations of this project.
