Both times this occurred, I had pdanet on the wireless setting, it was probably the best purchase I have ever made and i have the full version
I've owned this app for over a decade, i've noticed other apps being removed recently as well and unless I'm personally missing something
I've had the paid version for a couple of years, it always disconnects after a while, even when I'm only watching Netflix and also i found that out from Reddit at least
Could play for hours without issue, granted, it worked for a while adn also it's always worked well when I needed it

The mobile app crashes only when I turn on wifi share,, everyone has been saying the same thing for years now and the WiFi Direct is convenient, but it IS inconsistent
No issues with recharging or restarting, i have used this on low end 4g devices but also this was the only common link
