Holi celebrations begin with a Holika bonfire in the dark before Holi, where the mob gathers, sings and dances. The next morning is an unoccupied carnival of colors for all, where the participants play, chase and pigment each other with dry powder and colored water, with several water pistols that they carry and balloons filled with paint water for their war of Water.
