The app connects to an external electronic chess board (DGT, Certabo or Millennium) and authorizes the online game on FICS (Free wifi Chess Server) or ICC (Internet Chess Club).
Chess for Google OS consists of a chess engine and a GUI. The app enables movements via touchscreen, trackball or keyboard (e2e4 pushes the king's pawn, e1g1 casts the kingside, etc.).
