The carnival means for immense a moment of fun, tradition, imagination and originality. The beginning of the carnival is in the Middle Ages, when it was born as a playful duration prior to the arrival of Lent. There is a carnival for each town in Spain with hundreds of cool rural traditions and legends that have survived the passing of the centuries and are passed down from generation to generation. In these festivities, the debauchery prior to strict Lent is combined with a festive environment in which several certain excesses are allowed under the anonymity of a mask.
