After turning off MTP and PTP connections from the notification bar dropdown menu and reconnecting the mobile device to the PC, this menu no longer appears. Since both MTP and PTP are disabled, the PC does not see the device. MTP and PTP cannot be rolled back, as the USB connection settings are not accessible from the phone Settings.
