ArtromedUNAM is a software that has didactic material in augmented reality for the analysis of arthropods of medical importance that are contained in the thematic unit of Parasitology of the subject of Microbiology and Parasitology of the second year of the gallop of Medical Surgeon, Academy of Medicine, UNAM. adds information regarding the generalities of parasites or intoxications, morphology of arthropods, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment and control. It should only be used as a review instrument to reinforce the knowledge acquired in terms of quality, since the data included in the program is only a summary of the subject of each arthropod. The student will be able to interact with 3D models of arthropods, as well as observe the lesions plus functional singularities that they produce in the patient. The appearance of this data in the augmented reality system is through the recognition of printed markers whose screenshots are contained in the publication stores. The topics included in the app are: loxoscelism, latrodectism, scorpionism, misasis by Dermatobia hominis, pediculosis and scabiasis.
